Drawing is Fun and Easy 1

$180 for 12 lessons, plus $40 for supply kit

I teach drawing using a method I developed that makes drawing really fun and easy! We start with very simple exercises and work up to portraiture by the end of the semester. We will be exploring and experimenting with various drawing mediums, such as various grades of pencils, charcoal, graphite, and colored pencils. Students are usually amazed at how much they progress in one semester!

I don’t teach students to “copy” me, but to develop their own style. I give them the tools and techniques to be able to make their own individual, creative art on their own when they are finished with my class.

Remote Learning Model: Each class will be online via Zoom, with full class participation. I will record each Zoom lesson so that students can go back and repeat lessons as many times as they like, or get more practice. It will also be available to students who missed class on the day it was held.

Materials: I have put together a kit which includes absolutely everything that will be needed for the 12 classes in the semester, including several different types of drawing pencils, graphite sticks, vine charcoal, a full set of colored pencils, drawing paper and other specialty drawing items.  There is an extra materials charge for this class of $40 to cover the cost of the kit.

*This kit would suffice for subsequent drawing classes, if your child decides to continue in future semesters.
