Student Supervision - Volunteer Requirement
Foothill Learning Academy is not a school and does not provide staff for student supervision outside the classroom. To ensure students are adequately supervised during the day, parents are required to volunteer for one 3-hour shift during each semester.
If you are unable to volunteer, a $40 per family fee is required to compensate another parent volunteer and cover admin. Parents who have not signed-up, or paid the $40 opt-out fee, before the first day of classes will be charged $50. This charge will also apply to parents who do not show up for scheduled shifts or cancel less than 48 hours before the shift begins.
Parents are responsible for knowing and complying with their student’s charter school requirements regarding parent/guardian attendance during enrichment/supplemental classes.
