Jaime Layton has always been fascinated with Sign Language and started learning sign in 4th grade. She went on to earn a B.A. from California State University Northridge in Deaf Studies.  She has worked at the National Center on Deafness and began teaching ASL for homeschoolers and college extension classes, and done private tutoring, and interpreting. Jaime has been in El Dorado County for the past 11 years with her husband, Phil, and is a fellow home school mom with five children.
