Art has been Mrs. Williams' passion ever since she was in elementary school. She spent much of her childhood doing art and taking as many art lessons as she could. As an adult, she traveled the world and learned art from some very prominent and internationally well-known teachers, like Anita Wolff, Tina Ahmed, and Margaret Henderson.

Brenda has been a working artist for the past 20 years, having shown her work in galleries throughout California, including a show at the De Young Museum in San Francisco.  She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Art from Sacramento State University with an emphasis on Art Education in 2010 because she decided that she wanted to teach art and share her passion.

Three years ago, she opened her art studio in Placerville, where she teaches oil painting and clay to adults and children. As her business has grown, she has realized how much she particularly enjoys teaching art to children, because they are so innately creative and curious. Brenda's goal is to bring out the best in her students by providing a fun and supportive working environment that encourages them to try new things, experiment and explore.
