Mrs. Hage comes from a musical family and started singing in public when she was just 5 years old. For her, singing harmony together was magical! Now, she loves singing with her 3 daughters.
Grace actually started teaching children music at the age of 14. Her vocal background is varied, so she believes students should be versatile and proficient in many different styles of singing.
On a vocal scholarship, Grace studied Vocal Performance at Brigham Young University. She has coached and instructed vocalists for over 20 years. Also, she has performed as a featured vocalist with Expressions Productions, Miss El Dorado Pageants, Mrs. California pageants, New Star Discovery, and has taught Musical Theatre classes for El Dorado Dance Academy. She also toured with Kaleidoscope Dance Company in Japan and Hawaii, and appeared with Fair Oaks Community Theatre in their performance of "Great Songs of the Sky" at the Edinbugh Fringe Festival in Scotland. She was named "Star Entertainer of the Year" with New Star Discovery in Sacramento.
In the theatrical community, Grace has been featured in many roles with Music Circus, Magic Circle, Imagination Theatre, Theatre El Dorado and others in roles such as The Witch in “Into the Woods” where she received the Bill Birdsall award. As a classical artist, she has been soprano soloist in "The Messiah" and performed with The Sacramento Choral Society, Woodland Chamber Choir and Vox Musica ensemble. With the Woodland choir, she was a featured soloist at Sac Sings in 2016.
After the Visual and Performing Arts Charter School, where Grace taught jazz, concert, and chamber, closed, she became solely a private music teacher, although she still works with groups at church. Her choirs have competed in New York, Seattle, and Anaheim at the Heritage Festivals where they have received Gold and Silver awards.
