K-12 Homeschool Enrichment Program

Janelle Brewer is excited to join the team at Foothill Learning Academy and bring her creative energy, love for teaching, and passion for art to the students in her classes!  She has taught elementary and middle school art for over 10 years and has developed the art curriculum she used for her junior kindergarten through 8th grade students.  

Janelle received her degree in Liberal studies from Point Loma Nazarene University where she took art classes designed for the classroom, as well as studied art history while spending time abroad in Spain. She followed her undergraduate degree with a Masters in education.
Her career has provided a diverse background in various educational settings, including private, public, and parent-driven charter schools. She currently serves as an Education Specialist for South Sutter Charter School where she enjoys connecting with home school students on a weekly basis.
